CAPfest

My other huge, life-consuming project this past year was CAPfest.

 

 

 

 

Those of you that know me know that this project was my baby for the past 3 years.  And I'm happy to say that by the 3rd year it really started to shape up to what I originally envisioned: a community parade/festival that connects MICA with Baltimore using art as a common ground.

FINISHED Baltimore Album Quilt

Sorry I disappeared for a while. Next few posts are getting everything up to speed.

To start, I finished my thesis, and graduated from MICA.












Got a lot of good feedback on the quilt in the Commencement exhibition. It also won the "People's Choice Award" at this years Sowebo Arts and Music Festival.

I'm not dead
